Terms of Service for VeriLots

Introduction

Welcome to VeriLots! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, services, data, and "True Cost Calculator" (collectively, the "Service") provided by VeriLots AB, company registration number 559581-2909, a company registered in Sweden ("VeriLots," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Agreement to Terms

This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you ("the User," "you") and VeriLots AB. By creating an account on VeriLots, which requires you to click a checkbox indicating your acceptance (a "clickwrap" agreement), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety.

• No Recommendations: The data, calculations, content, and comparisons provided through the Service do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or a recommendation of any kind to buy, sell, or hold any security, financial product, or instrument.
• User Responsibility: You are solely and exclusively responsible for your own trading and investment decisions and activities. Any decisions you make based on information obtained from the Service are made at your own risk.
• Consult a Professional: VeriLots is not a registered investment advisor or broker-dealer. You should always consult with a qualified and licensed financial professional before making any investment decisions.
• No Fiduciary Relationship: Your use of the Service does not create a fiduciary relationship between you and VeriLots AB.

Affiliate Disclosure and Transparency

For the sake of full transparency, we want you to be aware of our business model. VeriLots AB maintains commercial relationships with some of the online brokers listed and analyzed on our platform.

We may receive financial compensation (an "affiliate commission") when a user clicks on an affiliate link within our Service and subsequently opens an account or trades with that broker.

Crucially, this compensation does not influence our data, calculations, rankings, or reviews. Our proprietary "True Cost Calculator" and all associated analyses are based on an objective and independent methodology designed to provide accurate, unbiased comparisons. Our primary goal is to provide valuable, data-driven insights, and the integrity of our data always comes first.

Permitted Use & Prohibited Activities

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

As a condition of your use of the Service, you agree not to:

• A. Use Automated Systems: Access, monitor, or retrieve data from the Service using any automated means, including but not limited to robots, spiders, scrapers, or other data-mining tools, without our prior written permission.
• B. Commercial Redistribution: Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, or resell any content, data, calculations, or analysis from the Service for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of VeriLots AB.
• C. Interfere with the Service: Take any action that imposes, or may impose, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our technical infrastructure.
• D. Unlawful Use: Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose, or in any way that violates applicable laws in Sweden or your local jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service are and will remain the exclusive property of VeriLots AB. This includes, but is not limited to:

• The underlying software, source code, and technology.
• All data, datasets, and information presented.
• The proprietary methodologies used in our calculations.
• The unique "look and feel," user interface, graphics, and visual presentation of the Service.

These elements are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Sweden and international conventions, including the EU Database Directive (96/9/EC) which protects the substantial investment made in obtaining, verifying, and presenting the contents of our database.

User Accounts

To access certain features, including the "Pro" tier, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Subscriptions and Payments

The Service is offered on a "Freemium" basis. Basic features are free of charge. Access to advanced features requires a paid subscription ("Pro Tier"). All subscription fees, payment terms, and renewal policies will be presented to you at the time of purchase and are hereby incorporated into these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

While we strive for accuracy, VeriLots AB does not warrant that:

• The data provided will be complete, accurate, reliable, or timely.
• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
• The calculations or results obtained from the use of the Service will meet your requirements or expectations.

Data from third-party sources (e.g., brokers) can change frequently and without notice. We cannot guarantee that the information presented is always a real-time reflection of a broker's current fee structure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, in no event shall VeriLots AB, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Financial losses of any kind resulting from investment or trading decisions made based on information from the Service.
• Damages resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.

Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising from the use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to us for use of the Service in the last twelve (12) months or (b) one hundred Swedish Krona (100 SEK).

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Stockholm, Sweden, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
